If you fly from Ho Chi Minh City:

With a distance of approximately 500 km, more than 11 non-stop flights are carried out daily by all three airlines Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Jetstar. Round-trip ticket prices between Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam range from VND 299,000 to 1,550,000. Ho Chi Minh and Phu Quoc.

If you are leaving from Can Tho:

Vietnam Airlines domestic flights (VND 1,000,000 - VND 1,600,000) currently offer 1 flight per day on ATR aircraft that fly from Can Tho to Phu Quoc.

When choosing a route from Rach Gia:

At a distance of 200 km, Vietnam Airlines currently only offers one flight per day from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc with a ticket price of around 600,000 VND / route.

After driving to the airport, you can take a taxi to downtown Duong Dong. The taxi price here is usually between 13,000 VND and 15,000 VND / km.

2. High-speed hydrofoils - experience the ocean breeze in a luxury train

Hydrofoil is one of the relatively new vehicles between Phu Quoc and Ha Tien and Rach Gia. The open deck, designed with high stability, minimizes seasickness and offers space for about 50 people so that visitors can admire the natural landscape while driving. 

To get to Phu Quoc, your schedule will take around 1 hour to 2h45 minutes if you leave Ha Tien. The wing prices range from VND 200,000 to 350,000 depending on the type of train. There are currently 3 high-speed trains from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc: Superdong (1-6), Savanna, Duong Dong Express.

When you leave Ha Tien, the train stops at Ham Ninh Quay (An Thoi, Phu Quoc). From Ha Tien it takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes by speedboat to Phu Quoc. Some ships to choose from: Hong Tam I train, Hong Tam II train, Superdong I and Superdong II train.

3. Regular trains and ferries - opt for an economical journey

If your time is quite pleasant, regular trains and ferries are not a bad choice. From Ha Tien to Phu Quoc you can take the ferry to the Thanh Thoi ferry and stop at Da Chong port (Bai Thom, Phu Quoc). The drive from Ha Tien to Phu Quoc is more than 2 hours.

If you want to bring a vehicle such as a car or a motorcycle, a high speed ferry from Ha Tien with only 3 hours to Phu Quoc is the best option. 

The schedule for regular trains and ferries not only varies with the hydrofoil, but also depends on the weather at sea. If the sea is rough with strong winds, you should not go to the island to ensure your safety. The journey time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and the ticket price is approximately 200,000 VND.

4. Discover Phu Quoc by motorcycle - an unforgettable experience

Motorcycles are a great vehicle for those who are not far from Phu Quoc to save money in the best possible way. However, keep in mind that if you choose to move a motorcycle, carefully equip hats, coats, masks, and vehicle papers and fill them with gasoline, so you should check the oil and quality of the car so that you have no problems.
